Search and explore what pre-registration workshops you want to attend and be prepared to register starting January 7 at 9 a.m. Central.
Here’s what you need to know about pre-registration for Premium workshops:
If you haven’t paid, you cannot pre-register for Premium workshops.
Your payment by credit card, check, or school purchase order must be received prior to registering for Premium workshops. You will not be able to add any workshops to your registration if you have not submitted payment or a copy of your purchase order by mail, email, or fax.
What can you register for?
You can register for as many academies and workshops as your schedule permits without overlapping. You do not have to register for concurrent sessions, so be sure to plan for those before you start the registration process. This is where the app is helpful to create your planned schedule ahead of time and easily identify which premium events you want to register for.
When do I register?
Workshop registration for Premium attendees will open January 7 at 9 a.m. Central and close on January 14 at midnight.
Is there a waiting list?
If a workshop or academy you want to register for has already reached capacity, and it is between January 7 and 14, you can email registration@tcea.org to be added to the waiting list. If there are any cancellations, we will accommodate your request. You can also sign up to volunteer and facilitate that workshop for a guaranteed spot.
What you need to know about academies
Academies are a full-day commitment. You cannot register for more than one academy on the same day and alternate between the two. In order to secure your seat in the academy, you must check in at the academy registration desk no later than five minutes before the first session (usually the opening session) to get your academy access pass.
What you need to know about the Five-minute Rule
You must be in your seat five minutes before the start of the session. At five minutes before, you will lose your pre-registration and your seat is no longer held for you. Any open seats will be offered to Premium participants who were not pre-registered. If you were not able to pre-register, you want to arrive early to get in the stand-by line to fill seats not occupied. Seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Beginning January 7 at 9 a.m. Central, proceed to pre-registration.
