Well, the scheduling was tight! But the man of the hour, Santa Claus himself, will be stopping by the TCEA office here in Austin, Texas! He’ll be taking time to chat virtually with students, parents, and educators around the world. Santa’s chat will take place on YouTube at 2 p.m. Central on Tuesday, December 12. This is the ninth year he’s managed to swing by. I guess he must like us!
Who Can Join the Virtual Chat with Santa?
Santa’s virtual chat is open to anyone, anywhere, whether they are a member of TCEA or not, and it’s completely free. Geared towards kids of all ages, the holiday event requires no registration and will be broadcast through YouTube. So make sure your district does not have it blocked at the time of the chat!
What Will Santa Chat About?
Everyone’s always curious to know how Christmas is going, and Santa’s here to deliver – as usual! We’ll hear about what’s happening with his elves, how the reindeer are doing, and what kind of Christmas goodies Mrs. Claus is busy baking. He’ll also give us a weather update for his big trip on December 24, something that he and everyone at the North Pole pay particular attention to. Also, children can submit their questions for Santa ahead of time! And, if they are really good, Santa may even mention them by name.
Santa’s Read Aloud
In addition to chatting, Santa loves to read for us. Every year, he brings a different book to share! This year, he’ll be reading The Magical Snowman.
Little Rabbit works all morning building the perfect snowman.
