As of December 9, 2016, it appears that AT&T has removed all reference to this grant from their website. I will update this blog if they re-post it.
The Internet Experts at ATTInternetService.com have just launched a new teacher grant. The grant is open to K-12 school teachers and college professors and will provide the winner a $1,000 Visa Reward Card for the purchase of technology for the classroom. Score!
Applying for the grant is incredibly easy to do. First, write a 300-450 word essay OR create a one-to-two- minute video that explains how you or your students use Internet-connected technology in the classroom. (If you enter with a video, it must be uploaded to YouTube.com or Vimeo.com.) Be creative and innovative to make your application shine above the others. And don’t be afraid to have fun with it. Then complete the short submission form by February 3, 2017. The winner will be notified by March 6, 2017.
There’s not a teacher in the world who couldn’t put $1,000 to good use in his/her classroom. So get your application in today!
By the way, you can find information about another technology grant that’s available until February 24, 2017 here. Why not apply for both?
