TCEA is excited to be an affiliate with ISTE (the International Society for Technology in Education) and will have a presence at the upcoming convention in Denver June 26-29. Check out just a few of the sessions that will be offered by Texas folks there:
- TCEA staff member Peggy Reimers will have a three-hour workshop called “Build and Program a LEGO Robot.”
- Diana Benner, also a TCEA staffer, has a BYOD session called “Flip Your Professional Development.”
- Karen North will present at the CTN Playground on Computational Thinking and Computer Science.
- Emily Richeson from White Oak ISD has two sessions she’ll be doing at ISTE.
- I’ll be shadowing the ISTE Denver team as I get ready to be the Regional Program Chair for the 2017 conference in San Antonio.
The ISTE conference is a great place to learn what educators across the country and even the world are doing to innovate teaching and learning. And be sure to check out the three amazing keynote speakers they have this year. Then register and begin planning your trip to Denver!
