Hands-On STEM at Home

by Diana Benner

It’s vital to continue to engage children with creative and challenging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) learning. With schools closed for summer, students might not be able to access traditional resources, tools, and even labs to create STEM projects. So check out some of the ways below to incorporate STEM at home.

Girlstart STEM at Home Activities

Girlstart’s mission is to increase girls’ interest and engagement in STEM. They provide access to hundreds of activities at their STEM at Home website. In addition, join them for their Virtual Starry Night. It is a planetarium star show with hands-on activities throughout the year. The next one is on Thursday, February 3, 2022.
