It’s no surprise that this year’s System Administrator and Technical Support Conference is filling up faster than ever before. There are fewer than 60 seats left, in part because we’ve packed so much techno-goodness into three days (October 26-28) that will build both your tech support and leadership skills. To make your time away from the office as impactful as possible, we’ve scheduled the Fall TEC-SIG Meeting and the annual Sys Admin conference back-to-back. Register for both and enjoy three full days of learning and networking with professionals like you.
Fall TEC-SIG Meeting Highlights
TCEA’s special interest group, TEC-SIG, provides a forum for CTOs, technology directors, technology coordinators, instructional technology leaders, and other administrators to connect as a network of edtech leaders and get up-to-date information on hardware and software, networking, bandwidth decisions, advocacy and other issues that impact your district. The Fall TEC-SIG Meeting will feature a keynote from visionary leader Travis Allen, president and founder of iSchool Initiative, along with a broad lineup of great breakout sessions. You can review the full schedule and breakout descriptions here.
Networking with Networkers
Bridging the two events is a Wednesday evening reception, sponsored by GTS Technology Solutions. This free, laid-back reception features a showcase of a trendy Austin eatery, great food, and libations. And the evening wouldn’t be complete without a special feature from the Live Music Capital of the World. Please RSVP for this event.
Sys Admin Conference Extras
The sponsors of this event bring added value with their content expertise. From offering guided presentations with top districts to bringing the latest in edtech to the forefront, the vendors showcased at the conference are dedicated to providing the best solutions.
GAFE Q&A with Amplified IT
Many questions were brought forward last year regarding GAFE implementation and support. We’ve partnered with Amplified IT, a Google for Education Partner and leader in GAFE support, to provide dedicated time in an informal Q&A setting to address those tough and lingering issues you are seeking solutions for. This session, more than any other this year, may provide more ROI than any other event you’ll attend.
Sys Admin Unconference
Because we know the real expertise lies in the trenches, the last session of the event will held in unconference format. Attendees will suggest relevant topics and then discuss solutions, ideas, and initiatives that have worked in their districts. This is networking at its finest!

We’d like to extend a special thanks to this year’s conference sponsors.
