Have you walked into a store, seen all the school related items on display, and wanted to pick up a few class sets for your students? That’s what happens every time my wife, a retired K-4 teacher, goes through every time she walks into a store that caters to students and/or teachers. Target is the worst for this, locating all the great deals at the front of the store. It’s gotten to the point that she doesn’t go to the store during Back to School season. The temptation is too great. For me, it’s Half-Price Books. As teachers, my wife and I both spent a lot of our own hard-earned cash on classrooms.

We are not alone. Teachers spend enough of their own money on classrooms without paying full price when they do not have to. The problem is that educator discounts are scattered across company sites, ID.me, SheerID, rewards programs, and seasonal promotions. I went looking for the ones worth checking first. And, I put together a website with 156 teacher discount programs listed.
Introducing the Teacher Discount Directory
As I just mentioned, there are a few discounts I want to highlight below, but you will find a greater number of them online at the website I put together for you. Access the Teacher Discount Directory using this link or the website embedded below:

Now that you’ve seen the Teacher Discount Directory, let’s revisit a few items you may find of interest.
1. Canva Education: Free for Eligible K–12 Teachers
Canva Education remains free for eligible K–12 teachers. Once your educator status is approved, you get access to education features without paying for the standard premium plan. If Canva is already part of your classroom workflow, start here. While there has been some buzz about Canva recently, it’s an amazing solution definitely worth exploring.
2. Headspace: Free Mental Health App for K–12 Educators and School Staff
Headspace offers free access to eligible K–12 educators and school staff in the United States. This one surprised me because it is not a small percentage-off coupon. It is a full educator benefit you can enroll in through the Headspace educator program.
From their website:
We offer free Headspace access to K-12 educators and school staff across the U.S. — helping them manage stress, build resilience, and show up fully in the classroom.
Resourcing educators is just one part of our impact. Learn more about our support for communities by visiting our social impact page
Given all the changes in K-12 schools today, taking advantage of mental health support is important.
3. Adobe Creative Cloud: 71% Off
Adobe currently advertises 71% off Creative Cloud Pro for eligible students and teachers. Verification runs through Adobe’s education process and SheerID. For teachers who use Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, or other Creative Cloud tools, this can be one of the larger technology savings available.
4. Michaels: 15% Off Every Day
Michaels gives verified teachers 15% off eligible purchases, including sale items. Connect your educator status to a Michaels Rewards account and the discount can apply online and in stores. That is especially useful for classroom displays, makerspace supplies, storage, crafts, and the odd project you did not know you were doing until Tuesday afternoon.
15% OFF* entire purchase including sale items!
We love teachers, so we’ve made it easy to save on everything you need for the classroom, online and in store every day.
Must have completed educator verification process through Michaels Rewards program. Exclusions apply.
5. Samsung: Up to 30% Off
Samsung’s Education Offers Program provides savings of up to 30% on eligible products. Teachers can verify through the education program, and Samsung says education pricing can sometimes be combined with public or seasonal offers. During the current 2026 back-to-school promotion, additional education deals run through September 13.
6. Search the Full Teacher Discount Directory
Five deals barely scratch the surface. I pulled together a searchable Teacher Discount Directory with more than 150 programs covering technology, books, classroom supplies, clothing, travel, wellness, museums, meal kits, and more. You can filter by category, verification method, and source strength, then jump directly to the source before buying.
Teacher discounts change, sometimes quietly. Check the source before purchasing, especially when the offer is seasonal or tied to a specific product.
